Sustainable development: a pro-active and unique environmentally friendly policy
With its eco-design, cooperation and environmental policy, Ferrari® sets stringent regulatory requirements for all their products and assume the best possible practices for safety and the environment.

- Developing Texyloop®, the unique industrial technology enabling 100% of the fabrics components to be recycled.
- Organising the first European network for collecting end-oflife fabrics.

Cooperation, inter-dependence
In order to share its commitment to the environment in a broader context, Ferrari® contributes in many areas such as:
- Fabric re-employment and re-use (Freitag®, Reversible®, etc.) before recycling. This initiative has enabled Ferrari® to take part in Planète Attitude,WWF 2007 summer universities and Salon Planète Durable 2008 (2008 lasting planet trade fair).
- Access to relevant and useful information for all the parties involved so as to better cooperate in safety and environment fields: Ferrari® has been a –Corporate Funding Partner– for Greenfacts since its foundation. Ferrari® contributes to clarifying genuine health and environmental risks through this approach
Two close and lasting cooperative schemes in developing countries:
- Zébu Overseas Board in Madagascar (Zebu is the animal in the Ferrari® logo)
- Pronatura International in Africa to develop the Charbon (green carbon) programme.
